I think all three are meant to complement each other, with Incineroar being manly tough guy, Primarina being delicate female and Decidueye "neutral" smart/swift type.
Same can be said of Kalos starters too.

When people are in a bigger group they feel more powerful and like to attack smaller groups/individuals for having different opinions because they know there are people who'll back them up. I like using Darkest Lariat and Leech Life with my Incineroar, the latter move coupled with Leftovers to help mitigate Flare Blitz. I kind of wish that Incineroar will eventually get Fire Punch and Drain from tutors, it'd help with the Flare Blitz problem and my indecisiveness on a fourth move. I'm stuck between Brick Break, Earthquake and Outrage.
