You see, I don't make this sort of mistake. You want to aim for 100% totes legit 100% of the time.

-First of all, just trade for a breedject and keep an alphabetical bank of each person's mons. That way when you inject them something, you can be sure it is completely legit to them.

-Second, if they give you something wild caught, change the met and hatch date to today's day, set it to hatched. Set it back to level 1, change the original memory to be the judge "was stared at...", then the notOT memory to "became (1) friends...". Re-click left of the egg moves to auto-import the correct ones.

-Third, save it over your copy. Now your template for that trainer will always be hatched!

-Fourth, stay organized! Make box 1:export, box 2:SID import, box 3-25:alphabet, box 26-31:various 6iv dittos, every event distribution. Be sure to save a copy of your savefile, not overwrite! I would recommend the "yyyy-mm-dd {Current name} {name of new ID} {clean/dirty/contaminated}"


Remember, some people get super upset if you tell them it's injected so it's probably best to just keep it on the downlow. Just trade them whatever they are asking for, then build up your archive quietly. We need this place to be friendly.

Does anyone have a spare Destiny Knot, and/or a male Mimikyu? Just got through the UB quest, getting started with breeding a Mimikyu so I can take on Battle Tree.

For a while now, I've not been able to connect my DS to my Wi-Fi and I've no idea why. I'm connected to two different routers (tried one on its own as well, same deal), both of which say they're connected and it looks like I'm connected to the internet, but I just get error code 005-4305 when I try to access the eshop or mystery gift.

Tried restarting, tried deleting the wifi info and redoing it, tried checking the settings on my router and I'm not seeing a problem. Anyone know what I might be fucking up here?

Keep an eye out for 6iv Ditto giveaways, they sometimes have destiny knot attatched. Or grind battle points or pickup grind.

There are a lot of good hold items for battle around the region, too. Air balloon, life orb, focus sash, and some others. You can get leftovers from wild Munchlax.

depends what you want to do

if you're farming coins you want fortune teller tents as they can boost the amount of coins you get for trading/missions

if you want to level up your pokemon to level 100 quickly, you need rare kitchens

if you want bottle caps, get treasure hunt lottery stores, first time you draw a ticket you always win a bottle cap, so keep some people with 2 star treasure hunt shops on your vip list to get them whenever you like

friendship cafes and ev training things are kind of worthless, you can do that in poke pelago and normal gameplay

I have:
2: 5 Star Rare Kitchens
4: 5 Star Fortune Teller Tents
1: Open spot to recycle through 2 Star Treasure Hunt Lottery (2 star gives you the bottle cap and is cheapest)

yeah, after a trade go into the castle and one of characters there is a guest who you just traded with

speak to him/her and you'll get coins

you get 2 coins for a wondertrade

but, you can buff that up with fortune tellers

the fortune tellers give you various phrases, they can tell you you will have 'decent luck' 'good luck' or 'pretty good luck' doing various activities

so if one fortune teller says you will have 'pretty good luck in wonder trade' you get a 4x buff to the amount of coins you get

another teller might say you will have 'pretty good luck in festival plaza'

these buffs stack so you get another 4x boost

so instead of getting 2FC for a wondertrade, you can get 2 x 4 x 4 = 32FC max per wondertrade

of course it's incredibly rare to get both boosts together, and you won't always get the max

apparently you are more likely to get good buffs with 5star tents, but i'm still getting shit mostly

I'm no expert (I mostly play singles), but Cofagrigus has Mummify to deter physical attackers and can either set up Toxic Spikes or use Destiny Bond. It's got a base speed of 30 and is pretty tanky, so it's worth looking into, at least.

there's a list of rare berries that only appear in a specific circumstance

you know when you initiate the berry pile and crabrawler attacks and then you get a bigger pile then usual? this happens once per day, at a random tree and it's the only way to get one of the above rare berries

you can't soft reset it, it's random, and only one a day

if crabrawler doesn't attack you, you're not getting a rare berry

also if you're going to get a rare berry, it's the first one you get

try again tomorrow anon or i can trade you some later tonight
