I didn't know this was an unpopular opinion, everyone I've talked to outside of this board loves the 3d models. I like the 2d sprites for nostalgia reasons, but 3d models are much cooler imo

This. So many of them could be made better just by having them move a bit more while idle.
For example, just compare Stadium 2/Colosseum/Gale of Darkness Ursaring to XY/SM Ursaring and you can see how much of a difference it would make just to have it swinging its arms about.

There are only a few "bad washed out" mons, like Exeggutor. The majority of the washed out actually had wrong colored sprites, like Salamence until Gen V.
