What's the best type in all of your opinions?
>>31374716
Steel
i have a hard time choosing between rock poison and electric
>>31374739
This.
Best designs are GOAT and worst are quirky at most.
bug type best type
Water.
>>31374739
For my money i'm gonna have to say Bug.
>>31374753
trash wormadam exist
Fairy/Steel
Design-wise Electric
>>31374716
DORAGON
>>31374716
Pre-gen 6 steel.
probly water cuz you get so many different good ones, esp bamfs like azumarill and swampert
Grass
Weaknesses will not deter me from liking this type.
Fairy solely from a gameplay prospective. Multiple Pokemon were launched into the top of OU just by getting their type changed to Fairy.
My fav. is Normal though.
>>31374810
i can never like fairy because it ruined granbull
>>31374824
My friend once threatened to stop playing the game because he kept getting wiped by a Granbull.
>>31374739
Objectively this
The fact that it also happens to the type of MY wife is a nice bonus
>>31374824
The moment I heard there was a new type called Fairy I knew Granbull was going to get it.
>>31374838
>>31374716
Water type. Most abundant so there are the most good designs.
>>31374841
i didnt. i thought he was just a cool bulldog and now he's "play rough: the pokemon"
i miss colosseum
>>31374739
Realistic answer
>>31374754
Patrician answer
I'll still vote forFairy, but that's just my opinion
>>31374810
Would fairy be considered a broken type? Type match-up wise?
I think so tbqh. It's two weaknesses are very uncommon, and are only there for coverage. Fairy needs a common weakness.
>>31374858
He's "Play Rough: The Mon'" instead of being "______: The Mon" now
>>31374858
Granbull and Snubull have been labeled as Fairy Pokemon since GII.
Op here, I think Ice is the best type. Sucks that there aren't any good competitive ice types besides Froslass though 3:.
>>31374716
My preference is ghost and dark. Competitively the best types are fairy and then steel.
Dragons always and forever
>>31374858
Snubbull was explicitly a "Fairy" Pokemon since Gen 2, in the Pokedex at least.
Granbull would inevitably be a Fairy Type as well, once Gen 6 came around of course.
My favorite is Fairy.
It's OP and the designs are very cute.
>>31374881
>Froslass
>Only good competitive ice type.
>Weavile
>Mamoswine
>>31374716
Fighting,Ground and dragon are my favorites but water electric and Dark get honorable mention
>>31374905
>6 different types
Can you be a hair less indecisive
>>31374716
Ice type is best in my mind
>>31374925
>Ice
THAT'S 2 FOR THE ICE TRAIN CHOO CHOO
>>31374858
same anon, maybe we'll get another colo game someday
>>31374716
>best
>favorite:
Bug
>strongest:
Fairy
which leads directly to
>OP:
Steel
Fairy is OP since it single handedly killed the fighting type. My favorite is probably grass. Totally crap offensively and defensively but a lot of grass mons carry a lot of utility and I really enjoy that.
>>31374914
ill pick fighting then
>>31374716
Psychic will always be my go-to type, even after the repeated nerfs... Here's hoping they buff it at some point.
My instinct is to say Fire, but a lot of my favorite mons outside of my ace (Incineroar line) are Dragon-type.
>>31374716
Fairy.
Not my favourite but shit is really strong both offense and defense.
Steel and Poison's offensive game is still somewhat meh.
Fairy or Steel on typing alone
Psychic or Dragon on stats alone
But that won't stop me from loving Poison types
>>31374858
>he
75% Female
>>31374716
Ghost, because they're always the cutest ones.
>>31374716
Grass.
>>31374739
This. Pretty much anything that gets a steel typing of some sort in only benefits from it.
Plus it is awesome defensively (tons of resistances and only three weaknesses) and it destroys those annoying Fairies.
>>31374864
>I think so tbqh. It's two weaknesses are very uncommon, and are only there for coverage. Fairy needs a common weakness.
Poison and steel are not that uncommon also fairy is walled by anything fire as well generally.
The only people who have a problem with fairy are people that want a dragon war meta again.
>people losing their shit because outrage requires strategy now
>>31376347
Agreed. Personally, I think a lot of people just enjoy complaining about anything new, and that plus the endless hordes
>muh bugbros no!!!
when ice and grass are worse have a hand in it as well.
My personal favorite type is rock, I love the fossil mons tbqh.
>>31376347
Poison/Steel do not really have many strong powerful moves to deal with fairies, they got more common as a necessity.
Fairy is s stupidly OP type, more than Dragon ever was, and the only reason the game is not all fairies all the time is because most pokémon that type are low BST shitmons, with bad movepools.
Xerneas and the Tapud are things that happen when you give something with decent stats and moves the Fairy-type. And since they'll probably keep adding more moves next gen, Fairy will be soon even more OP, when things like Bulu and Koko gain access to physical STAB
>>31375700
This.
>>31376347
>Poison and steel are not that uncommon
They are though. There's very little reason to run them outside of fairies because they don't fucking hit anything else.
Personally I think fairy should've been weak to fire as well for balance reasons, but sadly I don't work at game freak.
Ground for me
Surprised no one said it yet
>>31374716
Water or Steel.
Fav is electric
Not the best typing gameplay wise but not the worst either.
>>31374716
competitive-wise, fairy
design-wise, fairy
lore-wise, fairy
everything-wise, fairy
