Imagine an eviolite that only worked on pokemon that have no evolutions (legendary/mythical pokemon dont get this bonus) and boosted their highest stat by 50%. Would this be a good item? Too underpowered or overpowered?
Pacharisu will become uber.
>>31372810
>eviolite Skarmory
>>31372810
>eviolite Lapras
>>31372836
>135 Special Defense
Imagine.
>>31372810
Eviolite Spiritomb
>>31372810
Yes, give it to us.
>>31372925
Actually,
>142 Speed
>95 Special Defense
Imagine.
Eviolite Drampa would be bretty gud.
Free Special Attack boosts everytime its HP goes down to half and just Roost it away
>537 speed Aerodactyl
>>31372810
Please no. Eviolite was one of the worst things to happen to this game
>>31372960
How? Other then chansey how was it that terrible?
>>31372810
>Eviolite Wishiwashi
>>31372979
Made a lot of things like Dusknoir and Blissey outclassed by their own prevos. It's also the reason GF refuses to make anymore cross-gen evos outside Eeveelutions.
>>31373059
They could just not make evolite available in a gen that introduces new evos.
>>31373059
>It's also the reason GF refuses to make anymore cross-gen evos outside Eeveelutions.
source?
>>31372810
>>31373059
I'd love to see more branching evolutions. I found Slowking and Politoes awesome as a kid, always loved the idea that the Pokémon I knew before could take an alternate path.
That seems been abandoned now aside from gender shit though. Shame.
>>31373070
This is GF we're talking about here. They keep retarded shit like Nidoqueen's egg group because muh continuity.
>>31373071
No official comments that I'm aware of, but it's pretty obvious.
>>31373188
>but it's pretty obvious
no source then bullshit
>>31373071
If they Cross-Gen evolve something like Lapras, Eviolite would make Lapras too strong.
It's common sense.
>>31372810
Skarmory. Aerodactyl. Heracross. Rotom (all forms). Sableye. Smeargle.
You are giving most of these free choice items without the drawback.
>>31373291
>>31373188
ok but gamefreak never said anything about it so don't speak for them without proper citation
if you don't have a source then just say "it would be too broken because (your reason here)"
>>31373309
Do you have a better explanation as to why we haven't a new Cross-Gen evolution since Eviolite became an item?
Stop being in denial.
>>31373291
Don't underestimate how shitty a defensive ice type is. That typing alone managed to drag a pokemon with 95/184/46 defenses, usable attack, and access to reliable recovery and rapid spin to the depths of PU
>>31373467
It was an example.
>>31373467
It just needs 115/204/66 defenses! And 137 attack! That'll make up for its ice typing! It actually does, too!
>>31373059
>Dusknoir
good that pokemon was a terrible gen 4 evolution that riuned its design, glad the original is superior
>>31373431
stop pulling things out of your ass
Most single-stage 'mons are built to survive alongside fully evolved ones
The only exceptions are gimmick 'mons that aren't made for battling (Ditto, Unown, Spinda, Chatot, etc.)
Better idea
