I'm using the code.ips method but since the luma github got hacked, it unsafe to use luma updater last I heard. Try asking gbatemp or /vg/hbg/ if it safe to use. Have you just installed A9LH?

You're probably made two mistakes.

You need to put decrypt9's a9lh.bin payload in the Luma Payloads folder, and rename it with a prefix like start_ or y_ so you can execute it by holding that button whilst switching the 3DS on.

If your 3DS is still on 2.1 firmware, it won't boot whilst the SD card is inserted. You have to remove it, turn it on, then re-insert to get booted. You probably already did this if you've successfully installed A9LH though.

I wanted to try getting my old 3ds set up so I could inject/edit my own mons. I used this guide:http://hackinformer.com/2016/12/28/3ds-use-soundhax/

I downloaded the "starter" archive and unzipped it into the SD card, downloaded and place the sound file, and downloaded the otherapp file and renamed it to "otherapp.bin"
Upon firing up the O3DS, I launched the sound app and played the file, it seemed to load the homebrew menu, but it stopped once the bottom screen turned red, anyone know the issue here?

no its not necesary, but with CFW and Luma you will always have a homebrew entrypoint, so if they patch soundhax in 11.3 you can still gen your mons with pokehex. And most important with CFW you can download games for free and install cias

I have a lvl 90s buzzwole

I just encountered a very strange glitch in my game

Yesterday I was trying to complete my Pokedex. All was going well until I got to the happiness based evolutions. The Pokemon I tried to evolve were Type: Null, Igglybuff and Cleffa, all three of which I sent over from my previous Moon file. I maxed out their happiness using the Pokemon Pelago hot bath thingy, but when I got to the training none of them evolved upon level up. I got Cleffa and Igglybuff almost to level 50 before I got fed up decided to fire up PKSM to check what the hell is going on.

Turns out ALL of my Pokemon with mine and my Moon file's trainer ID had exactly 0 happiness. Yes, even the ones I used to beat the story. Only the traded Pokemon (be it from in-game trades or GTS) had more than 0 and gained their happiness normally. The weird thing is, when I use happiness berries on any of my story Pokemon, it says they "adore me" (which implies max or at least high happiness). I also taught my story Mimikyu Return, and it hit the opponent for high damage.

Did this ever happen to anyone else? I seriously have no idea what's going on.
