I'm still trying to figure out why they even bothered putting Skyrim on the system when Breath of the Wild is everything Skyrim's ever wanted to be and more.

I mean, people keep telling me it's to "get the players that want to play Skyrim", but considering Skyrim's on 5 different platforms already in two different versions, with the console version being inferior to the PC version in most respects, I'm still wondering who the hell even bothered to sign off on that.

Honestly, related is about the sum of my reaction. I honestly cannot believe Nintendo is gouging people as hard as they are.
It looks like it is otherwise off to a great start, Disgaea jumped there, SMT is already onboard, the line-up already looks solid.

I think skyrim on the switch is an appeal to developers that they can make traditional games for the switch. The problem is that to the players it translates to "the switch is 5 years behind" which seems kind of accurate.

The only good thing that I think can come from this is just a flood of ports and remakes of 5-10 year old games. Imagine all the elder scrolls get ported and all the GTAs.

It would be a pretty retarded method but it would help nintendo make up for all the games they missed. It would appease a small group of people at least.

The worst part isn't even the paid online, it's the paid online apologists. These faggots enjoy getting fucked in the ass so much that they would go out of their way to defend one of the most anti-consumer practices ever invented.

Nothing. Presentation was pretty alright. A handful of promising titles were shown off, and they spent 5 minutes talking about ice cubes in a glass. If the titles pan out then the Switch will have more good games in its first year than the WiiU had in half of its lifetime.

Breath of the Wild is being treated as THE definitive title for the system. After that trailer, I'm not sure it won't be.

A bunch of neat games didn't get directly announced, but were slipped in. For one thing, new Bomberman game.
