Does FEAR still work?
>>31345798
Against anything that's not Ghost type, or has Leftovers, or has Fake Out, or hazards? Sure, I guess.
>>31345798
Dunno. Last time I saw that strat was in BW2; A Lv2 Berry Juice Sturdy Pain split Probopass
>>31345798
FEAR never worked.
>>31345798
FEAR? Never heard this term before
>>31345798
If the opponent is stupid enough to fall for it, then yeah. What mechanical game changer has happened that would cause you to question the functions of the FEAR strat?
>>31346363
Just wondering considering I received a Nosepass with Pain Split on WT today

(F)ocus Sash + (E)ndeavor + Quick (A)ttack + (R)attata. Basically you use a level 1 shitmon with a focus sash, endeavor and quick attack.
The idea is that the opponent attacks you and you hang on to the focus sash, you then use endeavor to reduce your opponent's pokemon to 1 HP, then kill it with Quick Attack. This strategy however doesn't account for billions of situations that break it and it's mostly noob bait

Ah okay, thanks, I've dealt with this before, but didn't know it had a name. Most people I've seen use it quit after the second rattata dies
>>31346579
Fuck off, newfag.
>>31346582
You know this term in used not only by vp?
>>31346582
Not a newfag, try again.
>>31346682
Stop being a newfag by killing yourself.
>>31346777
I'm new. Maybe you could show me how
>>31345798
It was never an amazingly good strategy but now that things like hail are more common it's less viable.
>>31345798
Nah. Sandstorm isn't permanent anymore, so Aron and Propobass are ded.
>>31346841
>things like hail are more common
>hail are more common
>more common
>>31347929
A new Pokémon has access to Snow Warning, so yeah, by definition, it is more common
>>31345848
I still use it tout set up rocks, I usually manage to KO one pokemon and weaken another
