Rhyps been UU/RU and had some OU tournament usage as is. Shore Up would probably be enough to push it into UU again after its fall in Gen 6.

Rhyperior is a Pokemon with tons of amazing qualities that's really only held back by mediocre SpD and a 4x Water weakness. Ground/Rock isn't that bad as far as typing goes because it makes Rhyperior very difficult to switch into, and lets it wall most Flying types, which typically have few solid counters in a lot of tiers. Unlike some other shitmon rock types like Golem it's not a Pokemon that can be brushed to the side, and Shore Up really rounds out the kit of something that's pretty decent.

A lot of the things that resist Fighting don't resist or are weak to Ground, but Fighting only hits one of the types that Ground is NVE on for neutral or better damage.

Shore-up Donphan would be cool, although you'd probably have to lose Knock-off or Rapid spin for it.
