Nah, as a massive balltist the worst balls are:

Why even be a balltist when you're just gonna use the standard one? Dull ball. Doesn't even look good on most white/red Mons, who usually look better in Premier.

>Dusk Ball
The colours are so vibrant and varied that it fits on almost nothing. The fact that, when sent out, it produces purple smoke also doesn't help.

>Net Ball
A very nice azure colour ruined by the black lines running over it.

>Timer Ball
See Poké. It's just white, black and red that other balls do better.

Those were the most generally hated.
Poke ball-only balltism is actually quite common. Timer ball is not hated because it is forgotten and I've never really seen hate for Net balls.

From what I've seen, Quick balls are heavily stigmatized for being so widely used despite fitting stuff like Araquanid and such very well. Master Ball is despised not for the style, but because hacks are extremely common in master balls, they can't be passed down, and every time it is used, there are complaints it should have been "saved" for something else.
Great just generally is unpopular and I've seen a fair bit of "why not lure," and ">great ball" on here.

Master Ball argument kinda falls flat since Apricorn Balls in SM are technically even rarer. If you're fine with hacking in Apricorn balls (like many do) then Master Balls are no different.
Great is still great (no pun intended) for anything lacking yellow features but it's true that it has mostly been superseded by Lure. But that doesn't make it bad. I mean, Love/Dream has overtaken Heal on most pink shit but that doesn't mean Heal's bad (Literally perfect on shiny Lilligant, for example).
And, you said it yourself, Timer is so utterly forgotten. That makes it almost the worst one of all. It has pretty much nothing going for it.

Back to the Master Ball though. It looks absolutely beautiful but the problem is that, as you said, it can't pass and with a lot of Pokemon needing EM to be good, that means it usually can't be used. But it also means that, when it can be used, it's more special.
I caught a 0 Att Timid Misdreavus in AS with EM Nasty Plot in Master Ball (thank you DexNav!). And I'm eager to bank it into SM to HyperTrain it.

Ever since I developed a since of aestheticism, I have never caught any pokemon I plan on using or breeding in any pokeball other than the default. This includes legendaries and shinies. Its not that I particularly like it, but it looks much better than a vast majority of balls in my opinion, and I like my teams to match. I'd rather suffer for my autistic need for symmetry and order than go with the easier quick ball/ultra ball/nest ball.

I take it you skipped all the UB quest dialogue then? Looker and Anabel tell you that all Pokeballs except the beast ball don't work well on UBs. In game, this means that regardless of ball or such, ALL pokeballs except for the beast ball and master ball will have the catchrate of a normal pokeball (x1). Heavy Ball isn't working because you're basically just throwing a normal Pokeball at it.
