I work at an Amazon fulfillment center in packing. I see quite a few Pokemon related things that I pack. Once I packed a box that had a shit ton of pokemon plushies in it, which brightened my day a little. But sometimes you also have to scan pocket pussies and dildos and figure out how to fit those in boxes together, which can be fun too. Overall, it's not bad. Just working 13 hours a day gets tiring.

I got it by going to amazon.jobs or something and just applying for a new fullfillment center that was being built in my area. They hired about 1000 people full time and the rest were temps, who rarely get put into full time unless they survive the hell that is peak season without missing a single day, ever being late, no write-ups... yeah. It's harsh.
If you're lucky enough to be hired full time, then you get full benefits, a shit ton of paid time off, and you only work 3 days a week at a rate of 16 an hour (if night shift, otherwise 13 an hour).
We do get a 10% discount, but it sucks because we can't buy anything from sellers, only from Amazon themselves (so it's only good for kindles and such).
During peak season, they did give aways for gift cards just for showing up to work, and I won a $50 Amazon gift card for getting the highest packing rate. Then I won another $50 just for having perfect attendance during peak.
It's pretty good, but so fucking boring. Not a job I would do for very long, you'll get tired of it fast. I'm still here because I need the cheap health insurance and the pay is better than anything else I can find right now (I get 16 an hour on night shift).

I'm mostly a floater but I target IT based positions after having one of the sweetest positions of my life that was only on contract and scrape by whichever I can.
My last position was working in a church for free because of being in a program that had pie in the sky promises of landing a secure job after the "trial period." It was mostly technical support but there were a lot of things wrong with the place. We had back-up images that were fucked up, mostly because they had corrupted system files or they had malware in droves on them and no one bother to fix them and whenever anyone was unfamiliar with something, we were told to look at the wiki despite having no time to do that and the only access was through an intranet.
Person in charge was shitty with time management and spent more time talking on the phone and shaming others for asking her a question instead of looking it up on the poorly index wiki on the slow as fuck computers in the tech office.
I'm starting to suspect some people left shit more fucked up intentionally as a way of getting back at her. I have connections elsewhere, so I'm getting back on the horse. Plus the thing's that's been keeping me busy has people that consistently treat me with respect rather than presume incompetence or blame me for shit that I had nothing to do with, so that's always good.
Im an apprentice electrician and stock shelves at Target overnight part-time.
I also like Joltik.
Just dropped out of college. Was studying 3D modeling but the industries for gaming and animation are cancer and I was depressed and hating my life anyways.
So getting my health in order is what my job is right now. In a few months I'll get IT certification, maybe take some criminal justice classes at the local community college, and start filling out local applications.

I cook. Sometimes I think I'm wasting my time with long hours and low pay, but there's really nothing else that makes me feel as accomplished. I don't think my store brought on any temps last month. Which was it's own special hell because Cap 1 is the laziest environment I've ever been in. I've become the king of foods essentially since I know where everything is and my coworkers don't. I'll admit I work kinda slow too, but I'm going for quality of both my work and in helping the customers who come up with questions every minute. That, and I'm usually dealing with correcting plug, putting misplaced items in the right spot, and topstocking the severe overstock from the overnight crew. Especially the dude in chemicals jesus christ. I'm waiting for the Pets DM to step down so I can apply for his position.
