Protect, priority and good typings. Spread moves are nice too, but only if they're actually really strong.

Focus Sash Mimikyu is popular, but I managed without it. Took me a few tries though.

Prepare for dumb luck to fuck you over again and again. If the first turn goes poorly, anticipate losing and prepare to speed it up asap to move to the next fight.
I never had a good strategy until I started using an Extreme Evoboost Eevee with Baton Pass and now I have a fairly high success rate, so maybe try that.

I breezed through this thing using Xurkitree and just Tail Glow + Discharging

its super easy, just use a curse+baton passer tank, when one of the three other trainers is on their last poke proceed to use explosion (Explosion Silk Scarf Silvally or Explosion Galvanize Golem depending on immunities)

I did it with that, it was super easy, youre fucked if they send out palossand though
