Since it only appeared in theaters, no one filmed it and it's lost media now
>>31325862
>SimEx-Iwerks claims their rights to the film have expired
Wait, so who owns it?
Did they have to destroy all tapes of it?
>>31325894
I guess that's the most probable situation
>>31325862
It has to be out there somewhere
It can't just disappear into thin air
>>31325943
What about the Japanese original?
The dub was claimed by SimEx-Iwerks, but the Japanese version could still exist.

>>31325996
It's been more than 10 years, I don't know if anyone still has the original tape/whatever they showed at the movie theater. The only other way would be if someone recorded the short, but that's unlikely. Also, unrelated but check this shit I just found lmao http://lostmediawiki.com/Legends_of_the_Hidden_Temple_%22Pit_of_Despair_incident%22_(lost_final_round/episode_of_game_show;_1993-1995)

Why would they destroy it?
It makes so sense.
Just archive that shit.
We've had Pokemon leakers here before so if they see this thread they'll either:
A. Release it
or most likely
B. Keep it locked up to fuck with us.
>>31326087
Well, that's the thing with lost media
It's lost
>>31326110
One can hope it is found
>>31325818
This sounds like a job for the /vp/ Expedition Society
That's a thing, right?
>>31326240
I sure hope so.
Only if there are anon working at Nintendo, SimEx-Iwerks, or Jordan's Furniture in Avon, Massachusetts
>>31325818
I'm 99% sure it isn't really lost. Just commercially unavailable.
It's probably collecting dust somewhere at OLM's archives, like Electric Soldier Porygon.
>>31326400
I watched Electric Soldier Porygon a few years ago on YouTube, it isn't lost anyomore
>>31326430
My point is that though the public has no access to a copy, it still exists somewhere.
OLM most likely has the masters for the Porygon episode, as well as all the unreleased/removed from circulation shorts/episodes.
>>31326430
Electric Soldier Porygon has never been lost though thanks to all those VHS recordings.
But the original masters? They're gone, maybe even destroyed at this point. When it comes to lost media, that unaired Wishcash episode, and that 1997 Spaceworld Pokemon Gold/Silver demo is what interest me the most.
It's so weird that there are no pictures or foorage of those Spaceworld demo despite Pokemon already being popular in Japan at the time.
>>31326476
You know what we must do
>>31326499
You know what really interests me, but is probably the biggest load of bs out there? There's this one severly autistic man on YouTube that claims to have the beta version of GS and posts shit like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMBRA0z-Z8Q It seems really fake but I can't find anything like it in other places
>>31326499
Wiping is a very rare occurrence nowadays.
Even if a company thinks they'll never release it, they could might as well change their mind 10 years later only to find out that it's not available, which is why it's seldom-done nowadays.
If TPCi wanted, they could easily slap it on a BD, but they probably don't see enough commercial value to release it for now.
Where are they now?
>>31326663
one of them is dead of starvation with the other feeding off of it's body
>>31326663
They're slaves in the Orre region
>>31326663
They're hanging out with the HGSS shiny Pichu and Spiky Ear Pichu, last we saw them.
