Based owlbro. Thank you for being cool on your opinion. I can totally get people not liking Incineroar, and appreciate being able to be decent on saying as such.

So before I do an art dump, I found this piece of art by a guy named 'dinhodox' on twitter and a buddy going by JAR* colored it and fixed the flame collar into a flame belt from the original flame-mane. This is pretty much Incineroar, game style and canon proportions and all, as a quadruped. Only thing different is that he has three fingers but those fingers still seem the same size as canon.

What do you guys think? I love him being bipedal but this IMO settles the idea you could have him be quadrupedal too and make it feel natural and so shut up potential haters. It also shows his overall design is pretty damn good overall. I love this for headcanon purposes if nothing else.

*Guy who colored it said give credit in both forms, so I'll do that here before it gets losts to the mists of vp.

Littin hides his feelings from everyone. He's a total introvert, doesn't like anyone's company and prefers solicitude.

After he evolves to Torracat, he feels completely renewed. He's not as shy as he used to be, and wants to prove his own strength. He still quite likes solicitude, but he's also pretty competitive.

Incineroar is his final step. He final went from an introvert to a total extrovert. The attention he once hated, now he loves it, but in his unique way, because he likes when people both despise him and admire him.

Quite honestly, I love his whole concept, but I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Back when I used to post on /v/ regularly, I'm pretty sure it was this same guy who would occasionally come in and start posting scat.
One time he did it for a whole week, spamming every thread he thought was "furfag bait" or posted by "barashitters." I'd spoken to him in IRC, at one point (I was part of an ironic "barashitter" channel) where he linked a dropbox link with a folder literally filled with several gigs-worth of pictures he'd uploaded from Reddit's r/pooping in order to spam threads. This was back when moot was still around and bara wasn't really acceptable on /v/ and every thread that was posted was quickly deleted by mods.
He would go around claiming he was the cause for the deletion, when it was really because mods didn't really clean up threads like they do now, so they'd regularly just delete "problem threads" or threads with enough users sending reports.

Really weird to see this in /vp/ of all places.

Also, how is Incineroar Emboar 2.0?
Emboar is inspired in Chinese martial arts, and a character from Journey to the West, who was a man pig. Incineroar is inspired in Tiger Mask, and the whole heel wrestler's culture.
I won't deny his proportion could have been better, but they still give the "cartoon villain" that Incineroar is supposed to give.

I don't see any problem with making him bipedal, there already are four legged cat Pokémon after all. Either way would have been fine tho.

Not really. As fire starters go, and starterst in general, it's still pretty good. It's not Pig or Typhlosion bad, nor is it "yet another fire-fighting". Add to it that Torterra and Samurott singlehandedly ruined quadruped starters: the aesthetic and the cat is fine. Stop comparing it to the "leakmon" it'll only hurt more.

While i totally agree with your taste, you have to admit its just a matter of opinion.
Typhlosion and Blaziken are probably more popular than Incineroar just because they were here first.
