Hawlucha.When I was 13 I tried to dive under a pool rail(big long kind that goes into the water for older people to get in and out),got stuck and almost drowned.I got myself out from under it after a freak out.Was scary as fuck.

long story short, I was visiting my mother on Christmas when I swallowed a piece of rock candy whole. it was sort of small so it went down fine, but I took a shit later and it cut down my asshole while I was shitting.
I only noticed something was wrong when I saw blood pouring out of my ass. I had to be airlifted to the hospital to get surgery. I'm fine now, but I still can't get the image of all that blood out of my head.

I almost drowned in a pool at Las Vegas when I was 4. I don't remember being really scared except that when I tried yelling for help no one could hear me and I quickly blacked out afterwards. It didn't really affect me much later in life (like I didn't develop a fear of the ocean or anything) but I still remember it extremely vividly and sometimes I have dreams where I'm slowly blacking out and trying to yell for help but only muffling/nothing comes out.

Toxicroak, a few years back while at the lake me and my then girlfriend rode a ski jet thinking she knew how to swim. Well we ended up falling out both and then I found out she didnt know how to swim. She tried to hold onto me and we both wouldve fucking drowned if my m8 hadnt seen us a quarter mile away. I can still see the bubbles and darkness taking me, in my dreams...

When I was like 6 I went schoolswimming. I hit my chin really fukking hard at the floor and continued swimmimg. Two minutes later the water started turning red and my entire body was covered with blood.

When I was nine, I just learnt how to ride a bike. But because we grew up in a shithole trailer park, I had bullies who picked on me. So, on one of my many bike rides they rammed me off my bike and into a car window. I had to go to the hospital, and they never got in trouble.

When I was about 14 or so, me and my mom went to McDonald's with my little cousin. When I got out the car my mom backed up on my foot. When I told her to stop and move, she backed up further on my foot. Then drove off. Surprisingly, other than being sore for the rest of the day, no ill effect came of it. Still scary as hell.

When I was a kid my family and I were walking through somewhere and got assaulted by 2 tall, buff dudes. The experience was already traumatizing to me enough as a child, but then one of the fuckers grabbed me and slashed my lips with a pocket knife. I still have the scar and remember all the blood.

I almost drowned at King' Dominion. I wanted to swim over to some floating ropes that are obviously supposed to be barriers for little (Or in my case, fully grown) shits and got caught up in automatic waves that the pools get to do.

Pretty sure this was the same trip that I did a double bird on a roller coaster, though, along wiht walking up behind a kid and using his squirt thing on the log ride and laughed like the asshole I am, so I probably deserved it. [spoiler[]If you're out there kid, I'm sorry, the guilt has been eating me alive

I woke up to a stroke last year, it was so surreal yet terrifying. Was sleeping on a bunk bed, woke up, tried to climb the ladder down, body wasn't cooperating, fell off and went unconscious and later woke up in the hospital. I was in there for 41 days and lost the ability to walk and talk. Still recovering atm.

When I was 3 or 4 I was placed in some shitty daycare or preschool, when I refused to take a nap (I was pretty energetic back then) one of the teachers assistants thought it would be a good idea if she fucking sat on me to shut me up or something, she only covered my legs & stomach but she was easily 175 pounds or heavier and I thought I was gonna die, didn't fuck me up later in life besides a minor case of claustrophobia but maybe that's just coincidence

I had a somewhat similar experience when I was maybe 4 or 5. My parents handed me to a babysitter since they worked all day and everyday and she would literally lock me in a room with no windows in total isolation for about 9 hours or so and only feed me a plate of salt the entire day. She would constantly humiliate me as well, at least in the very rare times I wasn't locked in the room, and If I cried or told her to stop she would sit on me, and I'm pretty positive she was at least 140 pounds heavier than me. I don't remember how long I was in this situation but the last thing I really remember was her losing the key to the room she would lock me in, so I was trapped until the fire department had to come in and bust the door down to get me out. Her parents were there and I'm not sure if she ever got in trouble for that or not.
Typing it out and reading it, I'm surprised as to why I'm not completely traumatized or distraught over this since it sounds pretty much like child abuse. My parents didn't find out about how bad the babysitter was until I told them when I was about 13 or so, but I thought they knew since the fire department incident would've been hard to cover up, I guess their family found a way though. They weren't very happy that day.

I was like 11 or 12 and my mom came to talk to me about how she and her husband (my stepfather) were breaking up and he came in and started trashing my room and breaking my stuff and screaming at everyone. I had literally no idea they were having relationship problems and he was like a second father to me so this was extremely unexpected and scary. Then he threw us out of the house and for a week we had to live at my mom's best friend's house (she had two kids close to our age so it was kind of enjoyable).

Last Christmas, I came home from my friend group's usual winter sleepover party to my grandma in the hospital and the rest of my family just out of it. Found out my entire family over for Christmas had been hit by two semis and it was pretty much only by a miracle that they weren't all dead because the car was pretty much gone. They tried to hide it from me at first, too.
