I don't want them to repeat the mistakes GtI had.

Regardless I want the next game to at least be solid like Explorers. Super's gameplay was onto something, but it's story needs to be reconstructed.

I think that if there was some way to toggle difficulty, maybe we can make expand the range of challenge.
Don't want hunger, turn it off, but your rewards will decrease.
Is the gameplay pacing fugged? Make it easier or harder to make the hurdles more reasonable.
Want to make a dungeon more challenging for better reward? Level 1. Mysteriousity. Item limit.
Do you like using a certain Pokemon? We are not going to force you not to use it, especially with a fucking break system.

I got my sprite randomizer working again. Made a bunch of changes for the sake of simplicity and readability. Now it actually modifies RGB values instead of converting them to HSV, modifying those values, and then converting back to RGB

It was a randomizer, it would give you or the pokemon in the dungeon some good or bad effect, and i don't remember well but it changed every floor and there could be up to 5 effects.
It was pretty fun and it's a shame that Super didn't brought it back.

There isn't a mod to do that because it's a little more complicated than it initially looks like, but you can edit the ram using the guide in the OP. Or, if you can't do that, I can give you premade saves. What partner do you want?

It depends on the Pokémon. If it was used as a story character or NPC then it could have more portraits, so you're probably lucky with Mienfoo.

A lot of people will suggest you to play Explorers of Sky alone, but I disagree
Play Blue Rescue Team (Red Rescue Team is just an inferior version, only play it if for some reason you can't play Blue)
then Explorers of Sky (the same goes for Time/Darkness, they are just inferior versions of Sky)
then Adventure Squad (only in Japanese) and Gates to Infinity if you care.

Ideally, every starter, Pikachu, Eevee, Riolu, Meowth, then some picks related to the player's secret backstory from each generation
(ex: if the player is a pokemon from the past, fossils from each gen; from the future, machine and digital mons (Magnemite, Klink, Porygon); from another world, get the extraterrestrials (Staryu, Elgyem, Minior, Cleffa); secretly a human (pff), Pokemon related to humans (like machinemons, Yamask, Phantump))

It's going to happen. The 3ds is going to die out relatively soon after the release of the Switch. It makes more financial sense (more games on the newly released $250 console == more money for everyone compared to a handheld that costs only $100 New).
The question is what we should expect from such a game? I'm expecting with more power, there will be a shakeup with some current mechanics, and an addition of a few more.
And of course nice looking graphics

Using this item causes it to be dropped and become armed. Can be disarmed if picked up by the user or their allies.
