Ledian is one of those sparkling "rare" stages, so it's probably not too common. Found it once, had to use 2 Great Balls on the fucker. Should've used one on Ledyba the one time I saw it and it got SCP up to 79%, but I was worried about throwing a GB at that percentage. If I had, I would've been done by now, lesson learned. Next time there's a safari with only 2 mons I need, I'm tossing Great Balls as soon as I can, I wish I was grinding Kingdra right now.

Side note though, the "rare" mons are probably not that rare this time around. First batch of hearts had Forretress and Noctowl back to back, and then back to back again 2 hearts later, with Noctowl showing up first in the second batch of hearts too (and Ledian).

You absolutely want to grind Kingdra to lv5. You only need 70psb to reach max level and have amazing activation rates (50/80/100 wtf). Yes, I know the frog exists. And yes, you still want to grind kingdra despite:

1. Just like Mind-Zap, Whirlpool will work on every type. No exceptions
2. Its the perfect ability to work with Mind-Zap together. Just like Sleep-charm/Constrict with Mind-Zap it will keep stalling the disruption countdown (btw Constrict is another greatly under appreciated ability)
3. Even if you are not autistic, getting whirlpool to lv3 (9psb) or lv4 (30psb) will pay off.
4. the activation increase is ridiculous. lets compare whirlpool with paralyze (kek feralishitr).

Whirlpool Lv3 (9psb): 40/70/100
Paralyze lv3 (9psb): 18/38/88

Kingdra grinding's going pretty good so far. I tried using a team of Fug, Shaymin (skill level 4), Bellossom (skill level 4) and my level 8 Sunflora, and while I was winning every time, the victories were a little too close for comfort. I swapped Sunflora out for my level 15 Electivire (skill level 4) and I've had a nice 5-6 turn buffer at the end of every attempt. Raikou would be fine in that last slot too.

getting it to lv5 will result in 4 and 5 matches always activating (just like in the glorious past). And CC does damage the more same icons there are on the board. If you just got 4 icons you will almost no damage. And if there are like 15 you will do a lot of damage. But this was before we got access to good Risk Takers. So even if half the board is the same icon you will never ever come close to a lv15 risk taker skill level 5

The thing about Keldeo is, that it has flash mob. And you would only use it in water teams and hence know exactly you will deal around 1.1k damage. The consistency is why you use it. On lv5 it will activate two out of three times on 3 matches. 4 and 5 matches are guaranteed anyway.

tldr: after we got decent risk takers, cc is nothing more than a meme
