I know a lot of people, including myself, that pirated the DS games using flashcarts or emulators.

Given that Gen 5 came out when everyone and their moms were using emulators to play pokemon, I wouldn't be surprised that those games didn't sell as much.

Originally I felt that way with gen 5.

After playing Sun and Moon, I decided to play the 5th gen games and my love for Pokemon revived. Story and gameplay was probably the best out of any Pokemon game I've ever played, and I've played them all by now.

I don't know what about Unova that I didn't like when they first released. Maybe it was the girl I was dating for 2 years which made me feel like playing video games was immature.

It's actually the 12th best selling game on DS. It sold pretty well, just not as much as previous Pokémon games (stll, better sales than Emerald)

Gf stopped making third version games so they couldn't fix the problems of the starting generation games.
X and Y were Rushed, Z could have been cool but they canceled it for the Generation 7.

At least, the third Version of Sun and Moon have a lot of potential.
