That way it wouldn't just be a matter of it being something injectors can get anyway, since it being released as an event would also make it legal on WiFi and VGC (and Smogon, if you're not playing a metagame which assumes all Pokémon/items can be transferred)

I caught two but that was only so I could complete my special ball starter collection. Why would I bother when I can get them from the GTS?
If it had an interesting price like an unreleased mega stone or unreleased HA I'd actively participate in it. It's not like getting a lot of FC is hard to do, tedious because you have to trade a lot or talk to the guests every day or so but not hard.
