>items like black glasses and mystic water now change normal type attacks to the type it represents
How much does the meta change?
hyper voice everywhere
>>31298997
Noivern would probably like that
>>31298997
RIP hidden power.
>Thinking meta players care about 1.25X over the many versatile items they could use
Flareon finally has moves?
>>31299016
>the hot new memes right now are twisted spoon lele and zap plate koko
I don't know anon.
>>31299013
I doubt most mons will be willing to sacrifice a choice item or life orb for a little bit of extra coverage, a boosted STAB move is usually more useful.
>>31299017
While a Guts-boosted STAB Fire-type Facade is terrifying, you do have to give up your Toxic Orb for it. But even banded Flareon now has a Fire-tpe Quick Attack, which is pretty good, especially if it still gets the 20% damage boost from the Charcoal.
Actually, Quick Attack would see a lot more use in general. Luxray would also appreciate this, it could run Quick Attack and Return. And Rock-types might use Return over Stone Edge for the accuracy.
>>31299013
You wouldn't trade an item slot for a better coverage. Extreme Speed users would use it in a heartbeat tho
They should add a weaker version of judgment that can be taught to all pokemon. Or just a physical hidden power
>>31299054
derp, can't use band and item obviously.
Flareon might have problems smashing walls without a more significant damage boost though.
>Return: the game
>>31299013
Good: fuck that stupid IV locked, pain in the ass to get the right one move.
>>31298997
Klinklang might see some use. Lilligant maybe too but she lacks any real decent special Normal attacks besides Round or Hyper Beam =/
>>31299016
>Smogon singles
>Item variety
It's just "slap LO/choice items on attackers" and "slap lefties on walls", no idea why they avoid putting the official item clause rule, it even prevents super stalling shenanigans due to lefties limitations.
Greninja would finally have STAB for every type in the game (only fairy is missing)
