You use Discharge and then kill any ground type that might be on the field with a boosted Energy Ball. Throw in an HP Ice for Grass types and Dragon Pulse for Dragons and you're laffin'

This, the mega does hit harder and has secondary STAB, but the base form receives more benefits out of Bulu's Terrain. If you ever need to consider it's Mega, a Discharge spammer would be better.

No they weren't. And it's not a doubles ability. It lets it freely switch in to electric moves, including thunder wave. The point was that having it immune to both spore and thunder wave means it can't be crippled by common status moves, only niche ones.

It's funny how Sceptile is absolute shit in doubles despite them making the mega specifically for it.

The only time it was ever useful was in 2016 meta because it could reliably 2HKO the primals.

Moar sceptile gimmicks:

I already have a core planned out; curse + baton pass pyukumuku and white herb unburdentile. That way I can max out on coverage, not worry about grassy terrain gimping EQ, and have better defense. Also, please at run drain punch/low kick over rock tomb; way better coverage.
