With FreeShop, you don't have to keep pulling out your SD card and putting it back in your 3DS. And you can make a queue of games with FreeShop, so they install one after another but with FBI you have to install each .cia manually.

I know I can have pokemon hold the item but that would be only 1 at a time and it would be tedious.

There's an option for "copies" on the QR generator in PKHeX. Change the number to something like 30, then hit refresh, then scan the QR code and you'll get 30 of the same mon holding a Big Nugget

Not hard just depends whether it's a new 3ds or old 3ds since you need access to the sd card. Old 3ds have the sd to the side of the system while new 3ds require a screwdriver since the micro sd is on the back of the 3ds which you need to unscrew the back to access.(have to google which screwdriver since I don't know) you'll need to have something that can access sd card whether it's a computer or tablet/phone. I would recommend having/getting a sd or micro sd that's 32gb or higher although anything above 32 needs to be reformatted to fat32. You can only get banned if you play leaked game online or using cheats online.
