Why is this arc so short (and so bad) compared to the other arcs?

I thought it was pretty good actually. How come both the animay and mango managed to do the XY story better than the games?

This is the arc where shit constantly happens to the main characters. If you don't like it, that's one thing, but saying nothing happened makes me wonder if you actually read it.

So how much screen time does Delphox and Chesnaught actually get?

Little. Delphox doesn't even have a dex holder, Malva stole it but it barely had any story or relevance.

Chesnaught was always in the shadow of X's megas like Charizard and Manectric.
