I beat it with a Trick Room team in both XY and SM. In XY I used Aromatisse and in SM I used Oranguru. With Oranguru just make sure you're using Inner Focus on White Herb so the opponent can't Taunt or Fake Out you on turn 1.

I've noticed ice types have an unnaturally high bullshit rate in the tree. They've always got an item that makes them a pain in the ass, Blizzard ALWAYS hits, and that 10% chance to freeze is way fucking higher than 10%.

It was pretty good. It was banded so it one shot most things with return, including a M Gyarados. It's decently bulky and fast too, and I always lead with it. You have to be prepared to switch a lot if you use it though. And switch immediately if the enemy uses protect.

Im still on gen 6 trying to beat the battle maison on singles to get a ribbon form my bro infernape

On my second try i got to 47 wins using kangaskhan, gliscor and dragonite

i think i'll be able to do this before the bank updates comes out, but man that gave me flash backs of the battle tower and palmer's bullshit, i could never beat that shit

Porygon-Z completely breaks the AI with Z-Conversion, usually I don't need the other two pokemon.
Mimikyu acts as a revenge killer, just in case, and it can set up with Disguise + Swords Dance to sweep against a slow team. Also, Lum Berry makes it a check to Sash Gengar and helps Slowbro, which is very weak to status.
Finally, Mega Slowbro is a really nice tank that can stop almost any physical attacker.

Finally encountered Anabel on Battle 20

I was surprised since she mostly uses Legendaries and I heard you don't run into Legendaries until much later on. I scouted her, she came with a Raikou with Electrium Z and Calm Mind, and a Mega Latios which is oddly physical focused. I also fought her Lucario but it had Weakness Policy, though for Multis she only uses the Raikou and M-Latios.

Suffice to say I feel like there could've been better sets. I'll be able to run into her again, right? And if I scout her again then whatever team she had then will override the first team? I'm thinking I should be aiming for her with a M-Lucario, Air Balloon Raikou, Specs Latios, M-Alakazam, or Life Orb Entei. Those sets look good in particular. I just really want to fight alongside her in Multis but I'm not sure if the current sets she's got are any good.

I'm doing multi-battles with Wally's Garchomp, it mostly spams Earthquake and Stone Edge and it does the trick.

But is there ANY way whatsoever to deal with the Ice type counters? Weavile can Fake me out, Glaceon has quick claw, both pokemon have Sashes and Walrein tanks everything.

What can I possibly run alongside Megachomp that has the power and speed to take out those mons, whilst avoiding flinch AND not dying to Earthquake.

There isn't really anything that fits that mold. Choice band scizor can BP the shit out of glaceon if your mega slot is full already. There's also a few inner focus mons that can handle ice types but none of them resist EQ and can handle ice attacks. Gonna have to pick one thing to worry about and only one.

Well I survived 50 and I have to say muk ended up being mvp of the run. Around battle 48 as my last surviving pokemon he tanked a +1 Thunder from Zapdos and survived with 2 hp to KO it in return.

All the other battles including Gary were surprisingly easy though. I really recommend the Mega-metagross+tapu lele team for doubles, it's honestly idiotproof

Cynthia's Mega Lucario is an absolute beast as a partner but that Garchomp set is pretty bad. I very much suggest that you get an AI partner whose Pokemon only have offensive moves because the partner AI is very adamant about using status moves even if they could get a KO with a super effective hit and this can cost you your streak.

I tried over 5 different teams and always kept losing in the 40s. I used most of the Tapus and UBS, tried rain teams and other shit. What finally got me to fifty was this

Basically just have Lilligant use After You on Torkoal to make sure he outspeeds. Most things go down with one Eruption and if there's a tank water type just make sure to use Leaf Storm on it. I never even had to use my 4th mon. Just bring in Mega Mence if something that survived killed Lilligant.

Well, I got to 50 in singles by using him in combination with Porygon2 and Aegislash. I ran Toxic, Recover, Will-O-Wisp and Foul Play. Knock off like >>31287713 suggested is also good, but burning physical attackers gave my Aegislash as much time as he needed to Swords Dance up Sacred Sword/Shadow Sneak, and Will-O-Wisp is also handy for dealing with poison/steel types.

Z-Conversion Porygon-Z is pretty damn strong. A lot of matches usually just involved getting a Z-Conversion and then sweeping. Trick Room gives me a bunch of problems though, and for all of Porygon-Z's power, it struggles to muscle through some of the beefier Pokemon. I have a M-Gyarados as backup (Intimidate helps debuff opponents, and it can use either of its typings to its advantage) and Kartana as another sweeper.

I got lucky and Red's first Pokemon was his M-Venusaur which can't scratch Kartana at all, allowing me to get to +6 with ease. Next was Charizard which resisted all of its moves but even a +6 Smart Strike is strong enough to take down Charizard. And all that's left was Snorlax who fell quickly thanks to Sacred Sword.

I'm finally done with Super Singles... for now. Any tips for Super Doubles? Is it any easier? What about Super Multis?

It took resorting to Z-moves, Megas, and Smogonsword for me to finally push past 50. My previous best was only 37.
Am I doing it right?

>Running a Hail lead in Doubles
>Mow through all but literally every team I come up against, rarely lose a Pokemon without taking half my opponents team down first
>Tear my way through normal Doubles and into Super
>More of the same for the first 9 rounds
>Round 10 is Kiawe
>His team is trash, but it ruins mine because it's all fire
>Can barely get my team started up, have to fly by the seat of my pants and hope
>Lose to him
>Go back and try again

All three of the times I've done Super Doubles, it's been easy wins and smooth sailings till number 10, and then it's always Kiawe and he reckts me with a team I could destroy with any other team, but not the one I'm using. I am ashamed.
