wtf i like it now
but the seaweed is the pokemon so those teeth would actually have to be from something biting it
Except the compass isn't an eye.

No, it's mostly the anchor: it's in the mineral egg group. Would be cool if it was also amorphus though, given that's group other protists are in.
>>31274868
No, it's the seaweed. Did you even read the Pokedex entires?

Reminds me of Popeye.
>>31274995
I don't remember, but in that case why is it mineral? Are the dex entries and egg groups decided by different parties at GF?
>>31275423
The seaweed is (un)dead, I guess. Shedinja is also in the Mineral egg group despite being organic material.
>>31274868
it's literally the seaweed. it both states this in its entries and is part grass type. it's not a fan speculation type thing, its literally the seaweed.
>>31275423
going by egg groups is stupid and not ever reliable, anon.
>>31275423
Because the anchor is its host. Same deal with Cofagrigus.
>>31275466
Both use up minerals to make up the body? Chitinous bug shell and a calcareous algae? Kinda reaching with that, but I do dose my aquarium to get good marine algae growth.

In Gens 1-4 I'd say they were a better classification than types. e.g. Gligar and Trapinch are Bugs. Starting in Gen 5 I think they've just begun slapping them wherever. Oshawott not Water 1? Dwebble is Mineral despite the rock just being a temporary home? Both Unovan fossils are Water 3? Goomy isn't Water 1 or Amorphous?
>>31274772
but but... and Decidueye?
>>31274995
So you mean to tell me that this Pokemon is literally just ghost seaweed holding an anchor? I honestly don't know what to think of this thing now, it sounds retarded but the idea of sentient seaweed attacking people is somewhat unnerving.

Dhelmise is the best pokemon this gen. The idea of spooky ghost seaweed possesing shipwreck garbage to form a physical body is awesome.
