All right so the story is basically you trying to be the best trainer and win at the league right? But you're constantly obstructed by these Supervillains. They each represent certain types like the gym leaders. The first villain you meet is a petty theft robber who robs loads of cash from the bank. You attempt to stop him through a battle. After defeating him he leaves the money behind and runs away. You saved the day by proving you're not afraid to stop outlaws. You gain even more recognition from each villain you defeat (it wont be one time battles, you'll battle the same villains every few times), leading the corrupt rich of the region to believe you may become a threat in their plans to overthrow the King.

I didn't think it was to best to dwell that deep into my story because theres more to it then what ive stated.

To be honest, the story sounds like something I'd come up with in middle school, but you seem pretty invested in it so I'll bite. You keep using up the word recognition. Why does it matter that people know who the character is? In most Pokemon games, you're basically a nobody from nowhere until the very end.

I say recognition so people are more interactive with you in the region. Leaders will be awaiting for your arrival. Your town will be talking about you. It's all about reputation and building it up.

I'm thinking of implementing a more developed radio show system compared to the one from HGSS. I liked the idea and I want to expand upon it.

Yeah I do. I liked the gym battles but with my game im trying to give characters more personality. And with gyms, Im doing Stadiums instead. It will be as if youre in the battle frontier. You face 3 trainers, then you finally face the leader. If you lose to the gym leader you have the option to face all those trainers again so you don't have to grind with low level wild pokemon.

The gameplay was going to be similar to pokemon. Only difference is that it'd feel more like a comic book. Like for example I was thinking of having it so when a Pokemon explodes, it'd say the words "BOOM" or if it's a critical it'd say "WHAM" "POW" etc.

Like i said I meant to say synopsis I didn't really think telling the whole story would've been a great idea. I have characters and story elements written js.

Well I mean thats the goal in my game. Defeat all Stadium Leaders. But the villains constantly take over certain areas and become a problem as you move from town to town as they disturb the peace or attempt to ambush you.

Here's a better explanation of the Story/Synopsis

The Story takes place in a land called Victoria. Victoria is split into a Northern Half and a Southern Half. Victoria is ruled by a King who cares deeply for all the people and Pokemon. Your story begins in the North Victoria. You just moved to a big metropolis known as Rico City. There's a Shopping District, a Trainer School, a large Park Area, A Resort, etc.

Your dad is a Professor who works at the newly built Research Center in Rico City. Your mom is a Talk-Show Radio Host. Your parents are well-known on the region, which leads people to interact with you more; asking for autographs, etc. You carry around a Radio throughout your journey to learn about recent news or hear your Mother talk with famous trainers such as the Leaders or even the Champion.

You first get your starter after a wild Pokemon escapes the research center and your father asks you and your rival (The Opposite Sex, like Brendan/May) to battle it. Your rival loses on their try and you step up to battle the Pokemon and win.
You are then motivated by the Professor (Father) to go on a journey to be the best trainer of the region. You go on your journey to battle in all 8 Stadiums. On your journey, you will encounter various troublemaking villains.

These villains are also monotype trainers. They tend to disturb the peace at first, but once you defeat several of them, they begin to target you. There is no criminal organization, but there are a group of rich individuals who want to over throw the King of the region. They begin paying the villains great amounts of money to cause havoc in around the region. The rich soon realize you may be a threat and have the villains try to get rid of you. There are seven villains and their personalities are based on the Seven Deadly Sins.

After finally ending the corrupted rich's plan to overthrow the King and defeating all 8 Stadiums, you will then be ready to go to the Challenger Square, a festive like area where the strongest trainers gather to converse, trade, and battle! There are four courners where one strong trainer will be awaiting a battle. After defeating the four trainers, you will then face the son of the King, the Prince of Victoria. After winning, everyone congratulates you and proceeds to thank you for saving the King.
