Alright so I injected a couple UB' s and legends in the game via PKHex. I try to battle with them in Wi-Fi with friends but the shit won't work. The UB' s and legends are shiny and pretty much have everything else legal, moveset, Ev/Iv's, etc. In particular though I want to use Marshadow, how can I bypass this error? I thought you could use hacked legends and so forth with friend Wi-Fi battles regardless since a shit ton of poketubers do it.

I want to play a SM hack (Rising Sun Waining Moon, basically a difficulty hack) and I've never done anything in the past like this.

Im using Decrypt9 to dump my cart as a Cia. The process is almost done by now. The guide in the hack's thread mentions I need to have a "extracted" rom but no info on how to do that. After extracting I would be able to find a folder called exefsdir, if that helps.

Any of you familias know what shoyld I do next? If you've got some insight go ahead.

It doesnt. As long as the cart is inside the game (idk about cias), PKSM opens the file and inject the cards. In SM you can even Gen mons with it (no changing species but its almost Pkhex on your 3ds)

I've been transferring up events stored on old games (Diamond and White) to Gen 6, but opening them in PKhex, I get red warning triangles next to their moves. It won't give me any info about what exactly is wrong with them, though.

Transferred them using in game transfer and Bank, so nothing should have fucked them up, and while some of them are probably hacks, I'm getting errors for ones I legitimately got myself. Is it just false flagging them or what?

Hans is shit and has compatibility problems of your copy of SM is eShop digital copy. Otherwise, it's probably something to do with your region settings on HANS. Solution: Get cfw. For some reason it won't keep the Save Config setting to No, it always sets it to Yes.
I've been experimenting with different region/language settings but no combo has worked so far.
I guess it just doesn't work for some reason for me and I'll have to stick with pulling the SD card until I get around to installing Luma.

If you're using pkhex and allow it to create backups (it asks when you first open it) it will be in the "bak" folder.

If you have CFW, you can do the save editing method suggested in >>31274412 and >>31274415, or you can just QR inject.

I'll spoonfeed just for you, faggot.
1. Go to SD/Luma and Create a folder called code_sections
2. Go to the QR pastebin in the OP and grab the prepatched codebins in the mega download link.
3. Copy and paste the patched codebin for your version into code_sections folder
4. Hold select when booting Luma to open up the config menu, turn on "Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code" and press start.
5. Boot up your game and use the in-game QR scanner to scan your QRs to inject.

I got most of the way through 3ds.guide on my shitty little 4 GB SD card. However, I didn't realize this at the time but since there wasn't enough room on the SD card for a back up of my SysNAND or whatever it's called, it just went ahead and did the step where it deletes everything without making a backup. So, I've lost everything, and mostly come to terms with that. The problem, however, is that I can't even boot up my 3DS anymore without restoring the system, and I have no backup to restore.

As a result, I was lead to this guide:

But I don't have nearly enough space on my micro SD to fit those last two files I need.

I purchased a 64 GB micro SD figuring I could just transfer the files from the old one to the new one, however, when I tried that the system could no longer boot at all, even into Hourglass9. The blue power light turns on for one second, then turns off. If I put the old 4 GB micro SD into the 3DS then I can load into Hourglass9, but nothing else.

What are my options? Is there any way I can resume the process from my newer, larger SD card? I'm completely lost and my 3DS is trashed.

inside the zip you have a folder named JKSV, put dat folder in the root of you sd
get the .cia dat you have in the zip andput it in the SD you can put the .cia file in any place, i have a cias folder in the root to put them all so its easier to find them
Open the 3ds go to FBI and install the JKSV.cia
Now you should have it in the 3ds menu.
Open JKSV chose cartridge if you have a physical copy of SD/CIA if you have it digital, then go to save dat options->export save, name the save
Now close the 3ds, extract the sd card, the save should be in the JKSV folder we put earlier in the 3ds root, now you can edit it and shit with pkhex.
