Even if you have a Shiny Charm and are using the Masuda Method, your chances are still back up to about the regular Shiny chance. Be prepared for several males.

If you have a Pokemon with the ability Synchronise, yes. The Abra line has it in these games.

Though you can't use Synchronise and Cute Charm together.

My first ever Wonder Trade in SM got me an obviously hacked perfect-IV shiny Salazzle.

And I hadn't seen Salazzle in-game yet or even heard of it, so that was a surprise.

What's the best way to weaken a Salandit using a Sylveon without risking a KO? It has no fixed damage moves and no access to False Swipe.

I noticed that my level 44 one with a SpAtk boosting nature will get it into red HP with a Fairy Wind most of the time, but critical hits are too dangerous to risk.

My Draining Kiss Syv is doing enough damage to panic then while leaving them at acceptable health.

Misty Terrain to prevent status conditions and Shadow Ball as a finisher also works for me
