You have to catch and train weird versions of Fire Emblem characters. No actual Pokemon make an appearence. However, at the end of the game, everyone breaks out into song singing a lyrical version of the Pokemon main theme.

Which would have done a lot better in terms of sales if it was originally presented as PersonaXFE instead of SMTxFE. I'd imagine the final product ended up the way it did because nintendo didn't want a second party franchise to be associated that look like it's anti-religion if you only look at the games from a surface level when they are really focus on the duality of good and evil.

I'm not trying to say TMS#FE was shit, I thought it was amazing, I just felt nintendo handled the collaboration in the worst way possible, ATLUS could have easily took some liberties with the mythology of the FE universe and used it in the place of the religious themes you'd expect in SMT

Also, having the game basically be working up to something that's basically a massive Pokemon Contests sounds like that would make sense, and I would really love what is basically Pokemon Conquest but using mechanics from FE
