Just tested this for shits and giggles. They work like regular moves (aside from having blank names and usage text) but they only have 1 PP and the non-signature ones only have 1 BP. And duplicate moves are ignored by the game so even if you have the same move four times you can only use it once before Struggling.

Man, I really dun fucked up.

So, I've used PKHeX a couple times without a backup at all. Big mistake, lesson learned.

My save file on my cartridge version of Sun is corrupted, and I can't even access the save in PKHeX. Will I really have to restart completely?

I've tried creating a new save and importing the corrupt one in its place, but to no avail. I have not yet tried exporting the new save first before importing, yet. I'll be doing that after making this post.

I read somewhere about someone tampering with the Secure Values to fix the problem, but I have no clue how to access or read the corrupted ones.

Please help, anons. You're all my only hope. <3

Probably not the right thread to ask but oh well. So I encountered a bug that completely ruined my Prism playthrough because I skipped a gym before beating the 8th one. While I don't use pkhex or jksm myself, is the file by itself? (Should be named main from what I heard) could ask gbatemp like the other anon said. Which of the error message are you getting? Has anybody here used pk3DS? I'm trying to randomize trainers but the levels of the Pokemons keep coming out weird. One try had Hau start with a level 10 Abra, and another with a level 22 Mantine with the same settings at randomization. What settings/options have to be selected for the trainers to have any random pokemon, but at the proper levels with that pokemon's proper moveset for that level?

Should be able to use your bank just fine, as long as you restored your NNID. I've been transferring shit all night on cfw.

Updates shouldn't brick, and if you are on cfw, shouldn't even nullify your hack. Only thing really in danger from updates is things like soundhax getting patched.

For ribbons? Probably consider you could only obtain certain ones in specific games. I would check serebii. Since bank isn't updated, most ribbons aren't legal since you can only get a few ribbons in sun and moon.

The blue light going out means that it can't find arm9loaderhax.bin on the SD card. This should be Luma.

Unless you want a brand new brick, restore the nand since you should be on 2.1.0 currently where messing something could give you a brick. Restoring the nand will bring you back to the firmware you had before you did the downgrade.

You also need to get the titlekeys file. Just boot up freeshop when it's installed and scan the encTitleKeys.bin QR here.

Probably late in saying this but you can use safehax without a cartridge. https://gbatemp.net/threads/safehax-11-1-2-downgrade-without-dsiware.455456/page-63#post-6989298 the problem was due to timing and having a cartridge delay it which ended up working.

My suggestion is to delete your wifi settings on your 3ds and stay offline for now. PKhex all the pokemon you'll want for a while and just update and go online when you're done. Whatever method you used to access homebrew probably won't be available after 11.3

Just use JKSM to download the save, then transport them to your computer. As far as I know, it works for every 3ds game except for a Monster Hunter one, probably 4.

If you want to download a ds save, you need TWLoader, or something like that.

I tried doing the QR inject set-up on a n3ds with HANS but after I pass the settings screen for HANS it just seems to crash and put me back in Homebrew. I took the pre-patched file from the OP and renamed it and put it in the SD root. It finds the file fine through the HANS settings but it just crashes when I confirm settings.

The pastebin links to SciresM's github where there's a zip file with the "patcher". But there's also a MEGA link to "pre-patched codebins".

What's the relation between the two? Which one do I need?
