Do you have little siblings that play Pokémon? Is their taste good or bad?
My 15-year-old brother got Sun for Christmas and has been complaining nonstop about the cutscenes. Normally they eat up any Pokémon game, even if they don't think the game is that good they beat it in like a day due to never putting it down, but they haven't left the first island yet. They started with Gen 3 (and played my copies of Gen 1 and 2 games) and this is the first game they haven't had fun playing.

>Is their taste good or bad?
Tastes slightly salty.
>kids have literally zero attention span and complain about cutscenes
Wow who would have thought

Doesn't that mean Game Freak failed to appeal to their target audience?

Thinly failed SM bash thread?

No, I want to hear about what other anon's siblings feel regarding the games. The newer games more specifically, sure, but I'm interested in opinions both positive and negative. If there are people whose siblings love the newer Gens, I'd like to hear that as well.

Alola seems to be targeted at older crowd a lot, i can't believe shit like Kagetora subquest was designed with kids in mind

Oops, *veiled of course.

My sister played Sapphire and Pearl. I don't think she beat either one, it was more of a "my brother does it so I want it too". By now she doesn't care about Pokemon at all. She never really got invested in anything other than mobile games actually.

You're a good brother. If I had a sister that played mobile games exclusively, I would probably have strangled her.
