I see this asked 5 times a day, every day. On /hbg/. The answer is delete both. Follow the guide and delete that 0000008f or whatever file for your 3ds region. Not the whole extdata file. It functions as clearing 3ds cache. You have 2 files because you either previously made an emunand partition or you previously did a system transfer and transferred your old 3ds cache over. If you are able to identify which is your sysnand extdata file, you can delete the other file safely. If you can't, just leave it.

No, not the whole Nintendo 3DS folder. That contains all your games.

There's two forks in the road for Nintendo 3DS/(32 Character ID)/, right?

Take both forks, and delete the Nintendo 3DS/(32 Character ID)/(32 Character ID)/extdata/00000000/0000008f folder inside them both.

I'm attempting to hack my New 3DS as per https://3ds.guide. I get to the part where I need to install arm9loaderhax, but visiting the website on my 3DS browser results in the following screen.

I have followed the troubleshooting tips of pressing select anyway, nothing happens. I wait, then turn it off manually. I hold select while turning the device back on, and it just boots to the normal 3DS home menu (on 2.0 firmware).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Starting to get pretty concerned here. I redownloaded all the files, went through the entire process again, making sure everything was in the right place, deleted the browser history, and I keep getting stuck at the same glitched black screen when I put the url into my 3DS browser. I've attempted it almost 20 times now, and still no luck. Everything looks fine, until I enter the url. I've watched a video of someone else doing it. I go to the same glitched screen, but his changes after about 5 seconds. Mine doesn't change, even after 5 min. Any other suggestions?
