I don't HATE it (the mix of his and Green's champion themes is a nice idea) but it really falls flat comparing to the other versions

I wasn't trying to compare it to older versions of the Red theme, I was comparing it to other tracks in the game.

Even if you don't like Red/Green or genwun pandering, it's undeniable that their battle theme is one of the best tracks in the game, ESPECIALLY when you compare it to other tracks in the game that are also remixes of older tracks.

Also, is it just me, or does it feel like this theme fits better in Kalos? It has that "offensively French" feel to it, like the Mega theme in Shuffle.

Ah, right, it IS a nice theme in the SM music cotext (though I will call attention to the E4, which is fantastic this time around), but you got me wrong, I love Red, Green and Genwun

It did feel a little "off" to me, but I dunno if I can place it in Kalos, but it makes sense

I still think XY has one of the better E4 themes of the more modern tracks.

Agreed with the Alola E4 Theme. It just doesn't suit the situation. XY had one of the better themes for the E4, but I think the best one goes to Unova.
