I wanted new megas. Z moves are pig disgusting.

Megas are really boring.
At least Z Moves felt more useful.

Agreed. I wish they would at least fully explore Megas and Z-moves before they jump into a new gimmick, but I won't be surprised if we get "Super Abilities" or something next gen (...like Battle Bond.)

Sun and moon dex entries I feel really fleshed them out, they seem like evil/selfish power that is bad or even HURTS your pokemon so they can be stronger... And I doubt there is any reason to keep it after pokemons motto of growing with your pokemon and bond... Mega evolution just shits on it mechanically and lore wise now

But we have so few Mega Evolutions, and they haven't really tested the waters with what all interesting things they could do with megas.
