I'm trying to breed 5-6 IV Timid Alolan Vulpixes with Snow Cloak. I can only get to 4 and I can't do any better. What should I do at this stage? Just let RNGesus take over?

Do you mean Warning? Because Cloak are pretty much useless. Both in trading as competitive.
But to answer your question, what are you currently using? Because you have to replace the Vulpix in the Daycare when you get one with more IVs.

If it's taking too long you can always try using a pokemon from the same egg group with perfect iv's on the stat you want and hope it passes on. Mix and match your parents for best results.

I had no clue what to do exactly for tree doubles so I just copied the one built on Smogon's SM page for it with roost swapped out for wide guard.

Wide guards pretty useful for blocking rock slide shennigans in the tree although the A.I loved leading with electric types every other match. Drizzle works great for letting Tapu Koko spam Thunder.

If you could fit it into your tree doubles team/feel like its useful in the rain. Pelliper's main job is to set up rain and do a slow u-turn to let other team mates come in safely. You also want to outslow other weather users so a speed i.v of 0 is ideal.

Probably not, Dhelmise and Beldum are two of the big ones people have been using on the GTS to get what they need.

It depends on how long you want to wait. As long as it's in an Apricorn ball and isn't something really common like Vulpix, I've always had it trade if I leave it overnight.

It's so god damn slow that my Magnemite that I bred for HP Fire is still 40 levels away from hyper training.

Still, I got a quiet HP Electric Wishiwashi with 0 speed just now, his HP, attack, and defense are god awful though so I gotta grind it up and shove some bottle caps down its throat though.
