Alola literally has the least Towns and Cities of any main series region.
Not to mention so did Sinnoh. And Sinnoh has almost twice the amount of cities/towns. Oh, and don't forget that unlike Alola it also has Day/Night variants of it route themes too, of which it also has more than Alola!
Don't fucking get me started on the removal of unique encounter themes for Generic trainer classes.
