So what if there was a first-evolution Pokemon that could evolve into one of four final-evolutions? Maybe something like...

It's stupid and a bit more complicated that it needs to be, but I can see it happening purely for the sake of bringing something new to the table.

None of this is true. Magby, Riolu, and Elekid only make it harder to breed. Pichu is used to get a physical attack that will never be used seriously.

What are some single-stage Pokemon you would like to see get a prevolution? Namely so that they can show up earlier in the game.

None. Only ever evolve pokemon. If the pokemon currently has a good bst do something like Scyther where it's stats just rearrange or like Gardevoir where you create a divergent evolution with stats rearranged and a different typing. Gallade didn't ruin the line, Frosslass didn't ruin the line. Elekid ruined the line. Imagine if Electabuzz could become Electevire or something else.

Elekid didn't do fucking shit. It was introduced in fucking Gen 2, YEARS before Electivire was introduced. And Electivire was BASED on Electabuzz having a pre-evolution. Had it not, Electivire would be just another shitty middle-stage that no-one would care about, and then you'd all be complaining about Electabuzz being shit instead of Elekid.

Have Baby Kangaskhan as an alternate form for Kangaskhan that can't use Kangaskhanite until a certain level.
Or a Tauros/Miltank calf form that looks almost identical.
