I haven't played through DPP in almost a decade. When I go back to gen 4 it's always for HGSS. I should play through it again just to see how it's aged, I remember thinking it was okay at the time just thought those two aspects were stupid as hell.

I loved gen 4 at the time and its still my favourite generation overall, but those games have aged horribly, its such a slog to go through and the overuse of HMs is grating to say the least. I really hope that if it gets remakes we get some sort of replacement for HMs, or at least make them forgetable so you dont have to go back to a fucking move deleter for that one move.
