Sexualization has more to do with presentation than amount of clothing or nudity. For example, a still life drawing of a nude model can be totally unsexualized but a pinup of a cosplayer completely clothed can be sexual. It has to do with pose, composition, etc. Where does the artist/photographer intend for you to look? What are they trying to make you think?

In this case, I'd say yeah the image is vaguely sexual because of the facial expression and tight clothing leading the eye. The artist is drawing attention to the breasts (that nipple bump fo sho) naval and inner thigh/crotch area.

Its possible it was an accident, like someone who's just used to drawing porn trying to draw a cute image. Or maybe it was just to make a sexy drawing seem more innocent. Either way, I don't blame you for being unsure.

Intention is something that needs to be discussed more in terms of art. Interpretation is subjective, and while useful gets more attention than it aught to, in my opinion.

As far as the piece goes, I agree with most of what you said anon. OP, I think that both sexual and cute can exist simultaneously in art as it can in real life. Again, it does come down to intention and interpretation. There is also the possibility of subconscious or skewed intention. Imagine a pretty girl dresses up in slightly provocative clothing. Maybe she just did it because she thinks she looks good, maybe she wanted some attention from the other sex, maybe she was hoping to draw only the attention of a 8/10 or higher guy. Her 'intention' may change depending on who gives her attention, and what kind. A 4/10 guy awkardly hitting on her might get a "stop sexualizing me!" while an 8/10 of her type hitting on her might get a 'come hither' look.

And as I said, both cute and sexy can exist in the same person at the same time. I'd go more into that but I've got work. Life is a lot more nuanced than people like to believe. Good posts though.
