Also probably helps that Grant is one of like 3 black gym leaders and has a memorable/unique hairstyle. I don't think his gym placement matters as much and I'd say Wulfric is a fairly forgettable character as well given that he lacks the 'presence' that 8th gym leaders usually have and basically says "fuck it maybe this gym will be hard depending on your team"

They are falling under the same categorie as Gen 1-4 leaders. Most of them not appearing outside of their gyms. Can't see why this should be an argument of them being the most forgettable then.
