We're getting close to the home stretch of Gen 1.

Saw 2 Charmanders before the event, now well on my way to Charizard by the end of the week.

Machop never spawn, never hatch.

Same for Doduo and, unsurprisingly, Grimer. The problem with Doduo was I hatched one when I first started playing, didn't realize how rare it was so I transferred it before the Buddy System came out and now I can't even walk for it.

As for Voltorb and Magnemite, I'm pretty close to evolving them, they spawn somewhat regularly around a nearby mall.

Found a Chansey, ran away immediately. Never seen Tangela, Hitmonlee or Porygon.

I just need to hatch one more of each fossil to have their evolutions.

Gyarados and Dragonite are still a long ways away.

And I've been avoiding hatching eggs so I don't have any babies yet.

In my opinion, incense is best used in a different biome than the one you normally play in.

For example, I've seen three noticeable biomes where I'm located. Biome 1 and 2 both feature similar commons that are ground and fire, but one has more eevee and nidoran, and the second has more electric types and koffing. Biome number 3 has water and occasionally grass types, both of which are rare here. As a result, I prefer to use it in biome 3 since i find it more beneficial to catch magikarp, poliwag, slowpoke, and horsea.

i had very good 2726 cp vapes and 2522 cp machamps in two gyms, and i check my revives this morning and saw they got kicked out of the gyms. then i check the gyms and see that they are still at level 10, there are just new mons at the bottom and the entry cp has changed to 2800 cp.

I prioritize the moves on repeated mons because that's what's most important when it comes to taking down gyms.

But naming them whatever you feel like works too as long you can remember their moveset.

IVs and percentage only matter when you dust them.

in my city mystic is the cheatfag team, and the trolls who autismo out on the local PoGO page when someone takes their gyms.

Valor is dominant here but have a relaxed truce with the instinct group. Mystic is non existant other than the spoofers- Until events happen and then they come back in droves, just like any MMO receives an uptick in casual playerbase when hype is high.

In my area there's only three active Valor players, and around fifteen Mystic players, with two Instincts. I've at least confirmed the Mystic guys aren't spoofers though, they all use Snorlax and Vapes, but they aren't 3k, and I've seen their cars pull up to fight gyms.

I wish I could play this game without it draining my battery 30% every 15 minutes. I've stuck through it through all the shit but now it is literally just not feasible to play. Makes me sad.

No, not at all. My gf started after me it was a level 10 gyms. She caught up when I was on the snorlax. I didnt feel like dodging I just wanted it dead, to speed up the process. If you don't dodge alakazam comes closes to dying if you don't kill it first.

A couple rounds later, while my gf was locked out of the gym, I beat the snorlax with my Alakazam and he had 2/3s of his health left. I didnt take a screenshot of that because the power button on my phone is broken and the alternative ways suck.

If you don't believe me, take on a 3k snorlax with a 2.6k alakazam and try for yourself - it's fun. My main dragonite could have beat both snorlax but this was literally faster.

I ended up getting a Pichu, two Cleffa, an Igglybuff, two Togepi, two Elekid and a Magby from this event.
I also got the Snorlax I desperately needed.

All I need out of hatches now is Smoochum, and once I evolve my Bulbasaur and Charmeleon I will have all the Pokémon available barring the regionals.

I hatched a 100% charmander in chicago. Then heard central park was a charmander nest so spent 3 hours there with my gf farming manged to catch two perfect charmanders. Got home. Evolved worst moves. Went back next day, in rain farming for more candies. Of course the second one gets dragon claw too.

Pissed I gave up. Now this event started so I farmed and farmed and evolved the third perfect one.

My biggest regret was my first charmander evo. It was 10/15/15, shit ivs for non s tier mon. That one got ember flamethrower at least but I can't power it up
