Anyways, that's sad. I mean, I kinda thought it was too early to really consider rebooting Ben 10, and this era isn't exactly the best time to reboot a lot of things , outside of things like Voltron.

That being said, I'll judge it for myself. But first i need to finish watching Omniverse.I remember enjoying it, even though it seemed to have a hate boner for UAF. And apparently the seventh season takes that above and beyond.

It's because from an animation point of view AF and UA are considered a downgrade most design are copypaste and the animation is cheap and generic, some of the aliens design were great like Waterhazard, but in Omniverse they decide to eliminate their bullshit about everything is aliens and everyone is an alien, they even going to do a episode of Agreggor were they show him as a businessman, but they scraped the concept because the poeple who worked on UA hated Agreggor and UA and say fuck it don't touch that again

I understand that, but really, what UA did has already passed and retconning that stuff will only please the people who really hated that stuff and piss off the people who did. And the people who are indifferent really are the ones to suffer because instead of getting something that would actually be a cool arc, they get something that's deliberately pandering to one market and piss off another.

If the recton is put in place because a story that they found very interesting wouldn't work with that piece of continuity, like Eon for example, then fine. But don't retcon something just for the sake of disliking what it did.

Yeah it was mostly about derrick wyatt wanting the series to comeback to the OG series ina effort to preserve McDuffy original intentions and Derrick didn't kill everything he actually took the concept of AF and AU make it better the ultimates design are way better, the explanation for the kids plumbers and how Plumbers sometimes do shady stuff and that Kevin Mutation and the arc in anur transyl was really cool specially for the monster design
