Either DPP remakes or Stars. I'm kinda hoping they combine the two, making the Sinnoh plot postgame to SM, with the same MC, but that's a pipe dream at best.

With all the talk of Kanto in Sun/Moon I think they might remake Kanto as part of Stars/SM2

If we did get kanto it wouldn't be remakes because in the megaverse red and blue are 20 years old and blue states 'we were champions of our time'. Instead we'de get a kanto years later maybe enough years to make the kanto region more interesting rather than so dull

Kanto. It's pretty much confirmed at this point. Everything points towards it. It might be delayed if they shit out a third version of SM first, but otherwise it will be Kanto.
