Got more into Pokemon during the D/P gen and Weavile was pretty OU. Hell I used it since it was awesome.

And god damn it still seems to the case to this day. That fucking knock-off buff and icicle crash being a thing makes it real fun to use. Earning poison jab also helps with the new tapus going around

It's not so terrible anymore. Flying/Fighting/Normal hits everything bar the Honedge line and Rotom (vanilla Rotom) for neutral damage at worst, and it still has access to Knock Off and Pursuit. Base 110 is also a fantastic Speed bracket in lower tiers. CB Dodrio should be a legitimate threat in SM RU, which is about as much as it could hope for with those relatively low stats and that type combination that was old and busted even in Gen I.
