I've always been disappointed by how Gastrodon's leg-things are defined legs.
I prefer to think of it as the slimy muscley foot that snails and slugs have, but all canon says otherwise.

Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of Gastrodon despite it being one of my all-time favorites. It seems to be one of the "ignored" Pokemon, one that even hipsters don't seem to appreciate. Instead I post a jellyfish.

Interesting. Shellos looks like its walking but gastrodon looks more like a snail as it drags itself.

Gasrodon is pretty underappreciated. My favorite sinnoh pokemon, would've been my second favorite hoenn pokemon had it made it.

I like frillish but jellicent is just ugly in my opinion. Ruins a great design.

I've always sorta resented West Side Shellos for being the default. I just love East Side so much but it gets no love from GF.

Be happy you even got east side. In its hoenn sprite there only existed the west side version. East side wasn't added until it properly appeared in DP. I guess they grew more used to the west side version.

I love ALL of those slugs so much.
I also prefer Frillish, but I can't hate Jellicent. The tentacles are so pretty and nice.
Side note: I've never been able to see Gastrodon's third eye as an eye.

I think west side's colors look better for a slug, though I guess east side works as a sea slug. I really hope we get new south and west forms in the DP remake.

Well Shellos was a mix of both (it has the East form "scales" on its back) and Gastrodon just had the color from West side, nothing else.

Also unrelated but Grimer and Muk are my favs slime-mons but good luck fiding good art of them.
