Viable in the sense you can get away with it. You're forced to run timid to outspeed bug waifu and that ends up making it hit noticably weaker. I havent worked out the calcs, but feels like it should hit harder than it does.

Ice type works great during A-Ninetales's hail while (or after, if singles) it sets up Aurora Veil. You can also use Blizzard instead of Ice Beam, if you are the absolute madman
