Smeargle is a suicide mon, but sometimes to slow to use its destiny bond. And once you know what it does, it will get set up against.

Vest Silvally also seems pretty strong due to its stats, but average everywhere else, but brings fire coverage same as drampa, but faster.

Okay yeah that's what I was thinking.I have to replace a member on my team now just to check it and it's a very real threat with 6 Fairy trainers and 5 Ice trainers.I relied way too heavily on my own weather that when it was taken away and I was being OHKO'ed by the very thing that took my rain away,it's too much.

Only packing it because the only other thing I have to deal with water types is the mushroom, and that doesnt exactly kill things quickly. Ribombee, Mimikyu and Primarina can kind of deal with water types in their own way, but having the x4 on a select few water types is a nice thing to have.

Protip with that Muk when against fairies, just unload the poison moves. Dont waste time with Knock Off or Stone Edge, Muk is plenty strong and can take a solid chunk out of anything that isnt Klefki. It took a Moonblast from the slut pretty well, and unless your Muk is pure bulk a Gunk Shot probably would have killed it if you did that instead of knock off.

As soon as you started using Curse I started to feel for you because I knew exactly what was coming.

You're lucky you have the amount of poison coverage that you do though, if you want evil you need look no further than the mushroom. A single poison move ends its life, but if it survives one turn it can make your life hell.

If you want some extra salt in the wound, the Primarina isnt even max hp, I invested a little speed into it as well.

You said you had Brick Break on it previously. Now, I'm not suggesting you pack it purely to get rid of the AV, but the option is certainly there. Though a better suggestion would be to lead with Weavile any time you see a Ninetales on the opposing team just to check the threat of it setting up

There's no real salt, Dark type will struggle against fairy, and your team is well rounded. I have a handful of coverage but everyone will be weak to fairy so at the end of the day it comes down to type advantage lol. Umbreon surprised me with its survivability though. good stuff

Question- if the tournament is to select gym leaders or what-have-you, what's going to be the deal with that (like how does it operate, any standings or whatever)?

Also, if someone does become a gym leader, can they change the format of their battle, or do all gyms have to stick with 3v3 singles?
