Thats the whole idea. Insert your oot cart into the 3ds, load up homebrew, scroll down to sploit installer oot, select the hax for your 3ds type and correct firmware, and install it. That's all.

download jksm and merge the 3ds folder in there with the one on your 3ds.

Go into the hbl via soundhax, start jksm, select pokemon to dump your savegame and dump it to the sd card.

Put sd card in your pc, edit with pkhex, save, sd card back into the 3ds, hbl, jksm, inject savegame, done.

On n3ds you can also do the qr injection method via hans explained in the op.

Make sure to keep backups of your savegames in case something goes wrong"

1. Open QR in a new tab
2. Copy that QR's URL link
3. Extract your save in JKSM and open in PkHexX
4. Alt + Click on the Arceus icon to load from URL
5. Set the mon in a free slot
6. Repeat for as many QRs as necessary
7. Save as main, and inject this save into your game
8. You now have all the injected mons that people requested, go on gts and trade to the requester.

Okay /vp/ dudes and all. I made a thread absolute ages ago and someone helped me get my Old 3DS running Homebrew 1.1.1 and the base firmware is 9.4.0-21U.

Depends on what firmware you are on. 11.1 and below can do it right now with safehax. 11.2 wait a day for fasthax to be released, then use fasthax > safehax to install cfw. There is no need to actually downgrade anymore. That old stuff is now irrelevant.

I don't know much about how the 3DS works but it seems to basically be an exploit/abuse of how mpeg files are tagged.

Do you remember that old jpg on /a/ that could open as an mp3 in winamp? This is sort of the reverse of that. Soundhax is an mp3 that you can open in the 3DS Sound app and instead of playing a song it refers to a set of Python files on the SD card that exploit and go to town on your 3DS.

The sd card looks correct, and I have never heard of Soundhax failing so much, so that leaves only 1 possibility. Are you sure you got the correct .m4a for your console type and region?

Something I forgot to mention but avoid using prebank Pokémon when using dex flag or they'll show up when your searching for a pokemon on the gts. Not sure if that will cause any problems once the bank update happens.

Did you "make" any of the pokemon you needed to fill the dex? It doesn't auto complete the dex, it just scans your boxes and fills the dex for the pokemon it scans. Try to edit a pokemon and give it an item to see if saving works.

I'm not really into competitive pokemon, and I know my EV spread isn't "optimal", but the way I see it Lycanroc night is supposed to be able to take a hit, he's supposed to be the tankier of the two, so having him be a complete glass cannon bothers me. I like him to have some speed, power, and bulk. It just makes sense to me.

Put soundhac on my 3ds and begun injecting away into omega ruby and noticed later that time based events seemed to have stopped or no new mirage islands appeared at midnight, not sure if paranoid or if this is just a thing that happens but are time based events stopped forever now or do I simply have to wait a whole nother day

Hacking has become a lot faster now (depending on when you hacked your o3ds).

If you have all the files downloaded the actual setup takes maybe 30-40 minutes if you know what you are doing

And especially n3ds is worth to get cfw with all the sweet extras you get (ntr mainly)
