Kommo-o is better used as a special attacker. It jut needs a move to boost its special attack.

Those plates are literally broken up with Clanging Scales lowering its defense. It wouldn't be unfeasible to imagine it breaking the outer layers for the boost

As it stands, I see no reason to use it over Hydreigon.

Hydreigon has better coverage, better special attack, and is faster. Offensive typing is arguably better too.

Hydreigon would be better for punching holes into shit with specs/scarf while SS Kommo would be a cleaner since both its power and speed would be boosted.

They function sorta differently, but Kommo just needs more options.
