This is the part that I'm curious about. Poking around the PkHex FAQs suggests that the answer is no, but that might have changed since the FAQ itself isn't updated to Gen VII.

Transferring directly from gen 1 to above doesn't work right now, it will be "ported" from bank when it's released.
But if you REALLY want to transfer your pokemon right now you can just make a hand-made copy.

Do we have an explanation on the abilities yet? I.e. Fissure No Guard Machamp

PKSM has a functional Bank through Soundhax.

Albeit, it doesn't do legitimacy checks.
